School Counselor

The Jewish Family Services (JFS) School Counselor provides services to meet the social, emotional, developmental, and mental health needs of children and youth at Jewish day schools, religious schools, and childcare centers.

How does the School Counselor program work?

The School Counselor consults and collaborates with school and childcare staff, faculty, and administration.  In addition to providing on-site individual counseling at these sites, the counselor designs and facilitates support groups, psychoeducational offerings, and trainings for children/youth, parents, and staff.

Sara Line

The Sara Line is a confidential hotline intended for members of the Jewish community who have experienced some form of domestic abuse including emotional, physical, financial, sexual, or verbal attacks.

Are you the parent or a caregiver of a child or adolescent who struggles with anxiety, OCD, or related problems? Introducing SPACE – Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions – a parent-based treatment program designed to help families navigate these challenging issues.
