March is Social Work Month, a time to recognize the important role that social work plays in our community and the life-changing programs that rely on social workers’ expertise, care, and humanity with those they serve. As we celebrate this month, we reflect on the roots and history of social work and how it aligns with JFS’s mission and vision. The field of social work has always been about advocating for and serving vulnerable populations and providing support and resources to those in need. These values are at the core of JFS’s work.
