For good. For all.

JFS Connects

JFS Connects joins seniors with new friends in our community and beyond via a Virtual Senior Center. Each day’s activities are different, interesting, and stimulating while the user never has to leave their home.

How does the JFS Connects program work?

New friends are waiting for you through JFS Connects. See, hear, talk, and travel with them without leaving your home. Participate in meaningful, real-time, video-based conversations
that are facilitated with engaging and stimulating topics every day. Enjoy programs that offer friendship, education, recreation, and entertainment.

  • Each participant will be loaned a JFS Connects iPad.
  • A JFS volunteer or staff member will teach the client how to use the iPad and provide general instruction to get the person started with the program.
  • A flexible class schedule, curated games, offered 7 days/week, 365 days/year including holidays.
  • Training & technical support available.

Friendly Connections

Could you or someone you know benefit from a friendly call? As we navigate this unprecedented time, Jewish Family Services would like to offer the gift of connection to those in our community who may be especially challenged by the diminished contact while home-bound.

Groups and Educational Offerings

Thanks to a generous grant from the Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation, we offer therapy/support groups and educational offerings (webinars and workshops) that support the mental health and wellness of community members.
