Counseling & Wellness

Whether you are struggling with depression that impacts your family and work life, are unhappy in a relationship or reeling from a personal loss, Jewish Family Services (JFS) Counseling can help you regain a sense of well-being and stability. Our expert staff of licensed therapists work with children, adolescents and adults of all ages to help resolve their personal difficulties.

How does the Counseling program work?

  • Call JFS to be connected with one of our licensed counselors.
  • To make our services as accessible as possible to all, we offer sessions at a reasonable cost and can bill most insurances.
  • Telehealth or in-person appointments are available at two convenient locations.

Hours

Monday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 6 pm and Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Evening hours by request.

Groups and Educational Offerings

We offer therapy/support groups and educational offerings (webinars and workshops) that support the mental health and wellness of community members.

Sara Line

The Sara Line is a confidential hotline intended for members of the Jewish community who have experienced some form of domestic abuse including emotional, physical, financial, sexual, or verbal attacks.

School Counselor

The Jewish Family Services (JFS) School Counselor provides services to meet the social, emotional, developmental, and mental health needs of children and youth at Jewish day schools, religious schools, and child care centers.

SPACE

Are you the parent or a caregiver of a child or adolescent who struggles with anxiety, OCD, or related problems? Introducing SPACE – Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions – a parent-based treatment program designed to help families navigate these challenging issues.
