On October 10th Nurture Program Director Shawna Peterson and Nurture Program participant Lindsay Bonilla joined Evan Dawson’s panel to discuss how a pregnant woman’s mental health can affect child development and what resources are available for new parents in Monroe County.

Holocaust survivors in Rochester are receiving $255,000 in grants from the state and from foundations, announced the Jewish Family Services on Thursday.

Jewish Family Services has received grants totaling $255,000 to support critical services for Rochester’s Holocaust Survivors.

Thanks to what Jewish Family Services calls its greatest ever collective gift, about 100 remaining Holocaust survivors living in Greater Rochester will receive more support.
