Brighton Food Cupboard
Brighton Food Cupboard is a program of Jewish Family Service of Rochester in partnership with The Brighton Central School District, Foodlink, community volunteers and area organizations. The Brighton Food Cupboard addresses hunger and food insecurity for individuals and families in Brighton and surrounding communities.
Brighton Your Wardrobe
These are challenging times for many who live in or attend school in the Brighton Central School District. If you need clothes for you or your children Brighton Your Wardrobe (BYW) can help. BYW is a partnership of Jewish Family Service (JFS), the Brighton Central School District (BCSD), and community volunteers.
Pencils & Paper Project
Jewish Family Service of Rochester (JFS) plans on opening Pencils & Paper in 2017. Pencils & Paper will provide a retail store environment, where teachers from urban and suburban districts (in Monroe County) can “shop” for free school supplies.
Basic Needs Financial Assistance
If you are facing an inability to cover your basic needs, JFS can help. We offer Interest Free Loans, a Summer Internship Program for college students, and a Jewish Children's Home Scholarship Program.
